Highest waterslide in Africa @ Ushaka
by Press Release
18 November 2006

If you think Wet ‘n Wild’s ‘Torpedo’ is adrenaline-pumping stuff then hold your breath for uShaka Marine World’s new ‘Drop Zone’ slide, which opens on Saturday 18 November.

The ‘Drop Zone’ is Wet ‘n Wild’s newest and highest slide currently under construction. Once complete, the slide will be a dizzying 18.5m high with a 45 degree inclination. To put this in perspective…the current highest slide in Wet ‘n Wild is 15.1m and the ‘Drop Zone’ is 3.4m higher than that… about 6 stories high. Don’t miss it!
