ABSA Dolphin Dash
by Press Release
18 November 2006

Raise funds for the SeaWorld Animal Rescue Unit by participating in the ABSA Dolphin Dash on Saturday 25 November

Get your company to challenge other companies on the East Coast to raise badly needed funds for the Seaworld Animal Rescue Unit.  Buy a dolphin (plastic!) for only R100 & put it to the test as it races against hundreds of other sponsored dolphins down the 500m Duzie Adventure River of ‘Wet and Wild’.

The race consists of a series of heats with a certain amount of dolphins per race, each with it’s own number on it’s back. These will be placed in the flowing river and the first dolphin to float over the finish line in each heat will be the winner. All the heat winners will then be entered into the final race.  The first dolphin over the finishing line in the main race will be the overall winner and will take the 1st Prize of R15 000; the runner-up will get R2 000 and 3rd place takes home R1 000.

For more information on the ABSA Dolphin Dash please call Paul Lenferna on (031) 328 8000.
